Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Auxiliaries and Assistants to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering direct patient care. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.


Key Responsibilities
:

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Support healthcare staff in monitoring patients' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Ensure patient comfort by providing a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with basic clinical tasks under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Help in moving and positioning patients safely to prevent bedsores and maintain physical health.
  • Assist in the preparation and cleaning of medical equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.


Requirements
:

  • Previous experience as a Nursing Auxiliary or Healthcare Assistant is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and protocols.
  • A caring and empathetic attitude towards patients.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (desirable).
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
