Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our new Ayurvedic Centre in Derby. The Store Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Ayurvedic treatments and exceptional customer service. This role requires a passion for holistic wellness and experience managing service-based businesses.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the centre’s staff, optimizing business performance, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. You will collaborate closely with Ayurvedic practitioners to ensure a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Ayurvedic Centre, including client appointments, treatment scheduling, and customer service.
- Supervise and mentor centre staff, ensuring all team members provide excellent client care.
- Work closely with Ayurvedic practitioners to ensure smooth operations and optimal client care.
- Manage inventory, including Ayurvedic products and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure the centre is clean, organized, and provides a relaxing atmosphere for clients.
- Implement and manage centre policies and procedures.
- Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and cost control.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, maintaining compliance with local regulations.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager, Centre Manager, or similar role, preferably in a wellness or service-based business.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Passion for holistic wellness and a strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles and treatments (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with inventory management and budgeting.
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve client issues with a calm and professional attitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience ensuring compliance in a service environment.
- Familiarity with sales targets and performance monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in managing wellness centres, spas, or holistic treatment centres.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic treatments and products is an advantage.
